Megan started working at Hillman Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary technician in 2010. Her interest in animals really sparked when she enrolled in West Florida High School’s veterinary medicine program. At 16, she began her first job as a kennel technician and she has been working in pet care ever since. Megan loves not only the furry creatures but the scaly ones too. Her personal pets include cats, bearded dragons, rats, turtles, and her two Japanese Chins. In her free time from work and school she enjoys going to the beach, riding bikes, and spending time with family and friends. Megan also offers pet sitting services for those who prefer someone to take care of their pets in their own home. Please call Hillman Veterinary Clinic to inquire about this service.

She is the proud owner of champion black and tan coonhounds, and she handled search and rescue dogs for first responders in Pennsylvania. At home, Shannon has her hounds, a Shiloh Shepherd Malamute Mix, a Great Dane, six cats, and a two pound Chihuahua. Besides pets, Shannon loves lady bugs, the beach and spending time with family and friends.
