Dr. Chris Lewis joined Hillman Veterinary Clinic in 2009 after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. While at the University of Florida, he also earned a masters degree in biogeochemistry.
Dr. Lewis continued his education by attending the Chi Institute and is one of Pensacola's only certified veterinary acupuncturist. His dedication to furthering his knowledge lead him to the Canine Rehabilitation Institute where he became a canine rehabilitation specialist. Now Dr. Lewis has graduated from the Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy Certification Program, where he learned veterinary chiropractic techniques. Dr. Lewis can offer a unique blend of traditional and alternative veterinary medicine.
In addition to working on dogs and cats, Dr. Lewis also cares for snakes, turtles, and other reptiles. He personally breeds and raises pet bull snakes.
When he isn't working, Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He is the proud owner of a German shepherd named Lucy and two cats, Sela and Josey. Dr. Lewis is also an accomplished fisherman and wildlife artist.
